Power Generation Sales Specialist

Associate can live anywhere in Continental United States, East Coast preferred.
 
In particular, you will :

• Travel to customer generation sites, and corporate generation offices to meet with decision makers, assessing needs, and developing product and service solutions for presentation & closure.
• Meet or exceed established sales order targets within assigned region.
• Work with internal product management, application engineering, and order administration in solution offering development and order fulfillment.
• Coordinate selling activities with regional sales engineers in North America, in order to leverage existing customer relationships, and mine leads.
• Follow established sales standard work reporting protocols, to include call reporting, monthly activity/results reporting, traction metrics updating, and sales opportunity funnel administration.
• Enable the collection of key Voice of the Customer (VOC) data as needed to feed business unit product development and strategic planning efforts.

Sell into power plants, renewable energy locations, GIS substations. Sale exp with Turbines, instruments, and guages helpful. power generation, energy, electric utility companies, gas, power plants, wind energy, renewable energy, substations, gis. 

• BSME or BSEE
• 5+ years experience working directly in an electrical generation plant environment or 5+ years selling into electrical generation, plant automation, distributed control system, turbine or generator markets.
• Strong technical knowledge of generation plant rotating machines (turbines, pumps, etc.).
• Experience working at the electrical utility corporate generation engineering level is desirable.
• Strong working knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft Office software applications
• Strong oral and written communication skills.  Metric & data oriented.
• Comfortable with 75% travel.
