JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will work in the Corporate Engineering department, reporting to the Corporate Engineering Manager.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Reservoir engineer with 10+ years of relevant upstream experience
- Applicable Bachelors degree
- Demonstrated competence in team work, project management and skills related to the E&P lifecycle
- Hands on experience in acquisition evaluations, oil and gas reserve estimations, decline curve analysis, material balance studies
- A broad understanding of the E&P business, preferably Permian Basin experience.
- Ability to effectively represent the Company externally at industry conferences etc.
- Good communication and social skills, effective across a broad spectrum of nationalities and cultures.
- Proficient user of ARIES and Microsoft Office Suite
Responsibilities:
- Contributes to the preparation and coordination of corporate reserve reporting.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts and SEC reserves reporting documents
- Conduct economic evaluation of acquisitions and divestitures, and exploration and development opportunities
- Carry out audits and technical reviews on projects at key milestones
- Evaluate development scenarios, reserve profiles and profitability on existing properties or potential exploration ideas. Simulation experience helpful but not necessary.
- Support projects during project execution with discipline reviews, troubleshooting, audits etc.
- Supports Asset Teams by providing data and technical expertise
