Position Summary:
The Director of Marketing and Sales Support is responsible for providing materials and support for Sales and Marketing initiatives at the direction of the SVP of Sales and Marketing. The role’s primary focus is providing presentation materials, proposals, and other relevant communication tools in support of FM business development process. In addition, the role is responsible for supporting the overall sales process including market research, competitive analysis, product positioning, and coordination of pricing and business development process.
Essential Functions:
· Provide proposal and presentation materials for target prospects
· Provide marketing support for essential campaigns
· Support RFP response process
· Coordinate trade shows and related materials
· Manage and optimize Salesforce.com CRM
· Manage market research and competitive analysis in coordination with SVP Sales and Marketing
- Create graphs, flow charts, presentations, and other documents for distribution
· Support overall company communications requirements on an as needed basis.
· Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Preferred Skills:
· Three plus years of related communications/marketing experience, preferably with a focus in sales and marketing
· Requires solid computer skills in all Microsoft Office applications with an emphasis on Power Point and Graphics
- Experience in desktop publishing, using software such as Abode InDesign, PageMaker
· Requires strong written and verbal communication skills
· Must be creative with marketing ideas and skills
· Experience at managing RFP response process
· Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining flexibility
· Solid time management and organization skills
· Works well with teams
Education Requirement:
· BS/BA degree in Marketing/Communications or related field.
Special Characteristics:
· 10% overnight travel may be required
