Description One of the Midwest’s fastest growing and most innovative financial institutions is seeking a dynamic professional for Mortgage Loan Originator position at our Decorah, IA Branch. Interested professionals for these positions must have strong leadership skills and be highly independent, confident, free thinking and have the ability to express and execute their own ideas. The Mortgage Loan Originator will serve as a liaison between the member and the credit union for all mortgage related inquiries. Responsible for interviewing applicants for loans, gathering background information and analyzing loan applicants’ credit history. Approve or deny loan applications based on analysis.

Requirements

Knowledge of loan collections, consumer credit, and residential lending is helpful. The ideal candidate will have selling skills and business development knowledge. Interested professionals for this position must be highly independent, confident, free thinking and have the ability to express and execute their own ideas. Strong leadership skills are key to this career position. Interested professionals must possess a strong desire to “take action" and grow as the company grows, and to have a career position in a goal and results oriented environment.
