Description of Electrical Engineer:
Purpose Of Position:
Responsibility for the development of lighting controls products, by both performing design tasks and coordinating efforts in other departments to complete projects on time and with the best available resources.
Key Responsibilities:
The following are high level responsibilities of the position; all will be focused on lighting controls devices and associated technologies:
- Analog and digital circuit design
- Project management
- Product specification development
- Research and technology development
Electrical Engineer
Requirements of Electrical Engineer:
Minimum Requirements:
- Electrical Engineering degree;
- Analog and Digital low voltage and power circuit design,
- PCB Design and Layout (8+ years).
- Programming in C, C++,
- Visual Basic & Assembler (3+ years).
- Must work well independently and in a team environment, be detail oriented, thorough in investigation, and produce robust solutions.
Preferred Requirements:
- 10+ years in similar position with proven track record.
- Direct experience with commercial lighting controls industry and/or BAS industry. RF circuit design experience (2+ years).
- Windows GUI development experience (2+ years)
