We are seeking Adjunct General Education Instructors to teach in the following areas:

 

• Ecology - Masters Degree required in any field with 18-21 credit hours (either grad or undergrad) in Ecology related courses
• Speech - Masters Degree required in any field with 18-21 credit hours (either grad or undergrad) in Written and Verbal Communications related courses.
• English Composition - Masters Degree required in any field with 18-21 credit hours (either grad or undergrad) in English related courses.
• Psychology - Masters Degree required in any field with 18-21 credit hours (either grad or undergrad) in Psychology related courses.
• Algebra - Masters Degree required in any field with 18-21 credit hours (either grad or undergrad) in Algebra and higher math courses.

 
Classes run M-F but dailey hours needed may vary throughout the week.

 

Overview of the position’s responsibilities:

 

• Maintain a teaching assignment for each module.
• Instruct the assigned course(s) in accordance with the approved curriculum.
• Ensure that the quality and quantity of instruction provided in the classroom is consistent with the stated objectives of the school and industry.
• Maintain a daily record of student attendance and grades in accordance with school policy.
• Ensure that the classroom and school’s atmosphere is conductive to maximum learning and retention of students.

The attributes and qualities that are desired:

 

• Minimum Masters’s degree in any field.
• 18-21 credit hours of prior related course work in either grad or undergrad 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Teaching experience a plus but not required.
• Professional attitude.
• The desire to help others succeed in their career goals.
• Evidence of strength in instructional methodology, delivery, and techniques.
