Summary of District Sales Manager

Diamond Chain is an industrial chain manufacturing company located in Indianapolis, Indiana. We are presently looking for a District Sales Manager for the Houston, TX area.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the District Sales Manager will be responsible for managing a district from a sales and service perspective to meet or exceed customer expectations that leads to a gain of market share and exceeds our annual sales goals for the territory. The District Sales Manager will provide a level of professionalism in sales and technical support that makes our products the first choice of all our customers – distributors, OEMs and end users.

Responsibilities of District Sales Manager

The essential job functions include:

  • Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms in a timely manner that exceeds customer’s expectations.
  • Recommend and sell Diamond products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests. Know Diamond products well enough to provide a reasonable level of technical advice and support to the customer.
  • Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.
  • Quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates where appropriate.
  • Consult with clients after sales or contract signings in order to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.
  • Negotiate details of contracts and rebates.
  • Train customers' employees to understand and sell our products.

  • Qualified candidates will possess a B.S. degree in Sales or related field with 3+ years of sales experience.
  • MUST HAVE experience in the oil and gas market and industrial distribution.
