JOB SUMMARY:


Performed all operations for finalizing negative and non-negative testing results.

 


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Maintains current knowledge of screening and confirmation certification requirements according to the SOP
  • Maintains required knowledge of NLCP guidelines as well as all applicable state and federal testing requirements
  • Interprets all confirmatory, screening/specimen validity and chain of custody data accurately
  • Certifies and releases results in computer system
  • Generates final report and signs positive custody and control forms
  • Follows verbal as well as written SOP instructions
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned consistent with the level of this position
 

Job Requirements 

 

  • BS Degree or equivalent

 

JOB-RELATED EXPERIENCE:

 

  • Three years total technical experience at ATN (with at least two years experience in negative certification or GCMS operation and data review)


JOB-RELATED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

 

  • Able to defend testing result in administrative/legal settings.
  • Working knowledge of laws and regulations governing drug testing services
  • Ability to make decisions and interpretations of drug testing data in regards to applicable federal or state testing requirements.

  • Demonstrated ability to instruct and teach;

 

  • Ability to maintain NLCP certification.
  • Ability to describe and communicate all forensic laboratory testing procedures
