Hospice Quality Assurance Administrator

Job Description

The Quality Assurance Administrator reports to the Director of Quality for Gilchrist Hospice Care and designs and carries out quality assurance programs with medical, nursing and ancillary staff. The position is conveniently located at our Hunt Valley, Maryland office.

Education

RN; BSN preferred.

Experience

3 years of recent varied clinical nursing experience and/or quality assurance experience. Hospice experience preferred

Skills

·         Knowledge of healthcare regulatory agency standards for hospices

·         Skill in using basic computers and personal productivity applications

·         Skill in written and oral communication

·         Ability to effectively review and analyze and patient care documentation assuring compliance with regulatory and company standards

·         Ability to teach and coach other hospice professionals as needed.

Licensures, Certifications

 

 

 

 

 

 

·         Current State of Maryland license as a Registered Nurse. Valid MD driver's license.

Job Requirements

3-5 years of nursing experience, exposure to quality assurance preferred, Excellent PC and presentation skills.
