Job Description 

Client Seeking Competent and Qualified API/CWI Inspector in Oklahoma!!

The role you will Play:

  • Routine audits of inspection and overseeing non-destructive examination activities related to his/her Area
  • Write/review inspection reports, plans, repair recommendations and other inspection documents
  • Communicate weekly with the Inspection Management Department the inspection/quality control issues
  • Develop and implement Area equipment inspection and testing plans for compliance and turnarounds
  • Attend monthly Reliability/Inspection Department safety meetings.

 

Fair Market Pay, Per diem, and benefits will be offered.

 


Job Requirements 

Background Profile:

  • Certification in API 510 and 570 Piping Inspection and a CWI would be a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in the refinery environment doing equipment inspection
  • A strong understanding and familiarity with industry codes and standards including: ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, API 510 Pressure Vessel Inspection Code, API 653 Tank Inspection, Repair, Alteration and Reconstruction, API 570 Piping Inspection Code, NBIC-23 National Boiler Inspection Code
  • Working knowledge of multiple non-destructive examination (NDE) methodologies typically used in refinery equipment inspection
  • Strong ability in Microsoft Word and Excel, UltraPipe corrosion monitoring experience a plus.
