Metroplains Management LLC

MetroPlains, LLC develops and acquires housing and commercial properties in the Midwest. MetroPlains is experienced in historic rehabilitation, adaptive reuse and economic redevelopment projects. In addition to market rate properties, MetroPlains utilizes various financing sources to provide housing that is affordable to people with low and moderate incomes. Each partnership generating housing tax credits (LIHTC) or historic tax credits has equaled or exceeded commitments to our investing partners.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Initial marketing and leasing of and on-going management of the development which includes day -to-day,on-site management and resident relations tasks.These responsibilities will be performed in a manner consistent with the policies of MetroPlains under the supervision of the Area Manager. The Property Manager will be an employee of MetroPlains.

GENERAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • In order to properly perform the duties and responsibilities, the Property Manager must meet the following requirements
  • Demonstrate ability to handle management and administrative duties and to work effectively with staff and tenants.
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently, to organize work, to establish priorities, to follow defined procedures and to follow through in the completion of tasks in a timely fashion.
  • Demonstrate ability to interact effectively and conduct himself/herself in a business-like manner with other staff, tenants, service works and others.
  • Demonstrate ability to deal with stressful situations in a calm, organized and effective manner.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and the ability to use computers and related software (Word, Excel, Yardi/ Voyager, etc.)
  • Demonstrate ability to be punctual and reliable.
  • Ownership of a car, or regular access to one, and ability to drive on company business.
  • Prior property management is desired; comparable experience may be substituted at the discretion of the employer
