Human Resource Manager
The Connection is an award winning provider of outsourced call center services. We are proud to have been awarded by Customer Interaction Solutions Magazine the MVP of Quality Award, as well as distinguished as one of the Top 50 inbound contact center service agencies in the country.
We have an immediate career opportunity available for a Human Resource Manager in our Olean, New York location. Due to the growth of our call center we are adding an HR Manager to provide daily human resource support to employees and supervisory staff in a call center of approximately 300 employees. We are looking for an individual with strong leadership qualities who has the HR knowledge and experience to work in a dynamic environment. This position reports directly to the Call Center Manager with a dotted line reporting relationship to the Corporate Human Resource Manager.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Managing HR programs to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local employment laws
- Managing the recruiting/staffing process for the location
- Resolving difficult employee relations issues
- Conducting and/or coordinating benefit orientations, educational meetings, and open enrollments
- Conducting employee orientations and exit interviews
- Coordinating employee functions and group activities
- Promoting a positive, safe, and motivating work environment
- Maintaining ADP/HRIS system
- Maintaining all benefit and personnel files
- Supervising HR Assistant
Requirements
Human Resource Manager
Requirements:
- Understanding of Federal, State, and local employment law
- Experience conducting workplace investigations and have proven conflict resolution skills
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Must be detail oriented and have ability to multi-task
- Computer experience and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and ADP
- BA/BS degree in Human Resource Management or related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
- PHR/SPHR certification (preferred)
