Description
Sr. Structural Engineer
Established multi-disciplined engineering and construction company is seeking a Sr. Structural Engineer to accept role as Assistant Department Manager.
Primary services are focused on industrial, institutional, and process facility design-build and based on our successful execution of these activities, we have outstanding relationships with long term customers.
Requirements
Requirements:
• Structural analysis and design, including FEA of components.
• Design of steel reinforced foundations, support structures, equipment, beams & columns.
• Development of technical standards / specifications and construction procedures.
Candidate Qualifications:
• Structural or Civil B.S. Degree. M.S. Degree is a plus.
• Familiarity with numerous building and design codes.
• Strong PC skills with a proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications. CAD software is a plus.
* A minimum of 15 years experience with PE and SE in the State of IL is required.
Thorough understanding of fabrication methods and welding specifications.
Experiences in leading team of engineers and designers.
Strong client facing skills added plus.
