Branch Clinical and Operations Director

Our Opportunity:

Our Lima, OH, branch is seeking an experienced home healthcare manager that will be accountable for the overall business management of the branch, including development of new programs to meet the needs of the community.  We are searching for a leader who is also very strong clinically who will continue to grow this branch.  At  American Nursing Care, assertive, high energy, and skilled leaders are rewarded financially and with career advancement opportunities.

Our Director of Operations develops and implements short and long term strategic plans that support quarterly business plans developed at the branch level and supported by the corporate initiatives. Other responsibilities include:

1. Securing business growth by developing sales and marketing strategies for obtaining revenue goals.

2. Successful financial operation of the Lima branch, development of the operating budget and the establishment of plans to meet or exceed financial goals.

3. Oversight of patient/client care services delivered and implementation of plans for improvement of customer satisfaction.

4. Selection and supervision of branch associates and provides development opportunities, instruction, guidance and counseling.

5. Ability to apply to daily operations JCAHO standards, Federal, State and County rules and regulations and ensures the branch's compliance for licensure.

Job Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in health care management or nursing is preferred.
  • Ohio RN licensure in good standing is required. 
  • At least three years of management experience in a health related field to include at least two years of home health care.
  • At least 1 year of experience in operations and finance.
  • Computer literate with skills in Microsoft office.
  • Excellent communications skills - written and verbal.
  • Ability to travel to corporate office in Cincinnati occasionally; overnight stays may be necessary.
