First State Finance, a subsidiary of First State Bank, is currently accepting resumes for an Customer Service Representative.

Primary responsibilities for the Customer Service Representative include:

 

  •     Provide administrative support to include telephone coverage, copier projects, mail handling, supplies control, filing and necessary communications internally and externally.   

     

      • Answers and processes routine customer inquires and resolves problems with excellent customer service.

      • Correct records and post payments to customer accounts.

         

        Maintain a cash drawer, complying with all company policies regarding cash control.

      •  Receive and review loan applications.  Prepare documents for loan closing.

      • Process paid out loan files; comply with company retention programs.

      • Examines documents to ensure compliance with institution policy and legal requirements.

      •   Maintain insurance follow-up on required loans. 

      •   Solicit referrals over the counter, by mail or phone. 

      •  Contact delinquent customers about the status of their account.

      •  Run all reports (daily & monthly) on system, prepare all manual reports. 

      • May perform other duties as assigned.

       

     

    Requirements

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

      This job requires a high school diploma and at least 2 years of finance experience preferred. 

      
    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL

      Must have excellent organizational and customer interaction skills.  Proficient with a personal computer. 

      

    SPECIAL LICENSING AND CERTIFICATION

     

    None. 

      

    WORKING CONDITIONS

      The working environment of this job includes physical surroundings that are nearly ideal.  This includes usual office working conditions.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally be exposed to outside weather conditions.  This job demands light physical effort.  Occasionally moves or lifts light objects.  May walk or stand for prolonged periods.  May require prolonged machine operation including keyboard equipment.  May require some travel.
