We’re seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist for part-time & PRN to join us. Our facility offers unparalleled career opportunities and our rehab services include the most progressive approaches with impressive clinical outcomes.
AREA/FACILITY SPECIFICS:
The Brian Center Health & Rehab Center (Hickory Viewmont) in Hickory, NC has 104 beds. We have an excellent rehabilitation department that consists of full-time occupational, physical, and speech therapists.
We have speech therapy licensed to provide VitalStim therapy for patients with dysphagia. Our therapists are specialized in working with neurological patients, including dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.
We also specialize in short term Rehab to home with a specialty in orthopedics. Other therapeutic specialties include splinting, gait training, community outings, developing functional communication and cognitive skills, as well as treating visual deficits. We also have modalities through ACP, including a state of art diathermy, ultrasound, and e-stim machine. These devices assist in treating wounds, pain, and Contractures.
