DM Dykstra Heating and Air Conditioning - A Nicor Services Company


Nicor Services is a subsidiary of Nicor Inc. that provides a wide range of products and services bringing comfort and reliability to tens of thousands of residential and commercial customers. In addition to energy management and warranty plans and programs, Nicor Services offers through wholly-owned companies a complete menu of heating and air conditioning products and services.



About our Crestwood location: A household name in its service area, DM Dykstra Heating and Air Conditioning has been a leading provider of heating and air conditioning service, repair and replacement in the south suburbs since 1926. A family-owned business for three generations, DM Dykstra was purchased by Nicor in 2002 and is now part of the Nicor Services family of home and commercial products and services.


We are currently looking for Sales Representatives to support our HVAC Add On & Replacement Sales efforts. Our customer base is residential and small to mid-sized commercial businesses. Leads are generated through Trade Shows, Advertising, our Call Center and current field technicians, as well as through your own efforts.

This position is a 100% commission oriented structure. Your sales offerings will include any/all of the HVAC services and components/accessories that we can provide with a different commission structure tied to each different product/component or service. Familiarity with the HVAC industry is a huge plus - understanding this business and these products are beneficial, but we can train the right professional. Candidates must be self-starters, highly motivated, customer focused with demonstratable interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills must be pleasant/professional and presentable; must have a demonstratable ability to close sales opportunities.

 

 


Job Requirements 

Position Requirements:

  • High School or GED required
  • A valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Good communication and customer service skills required
  • 2-5+ years HVAC Sales experience preferred

Company car or mileage reimbursement provided along with business tools - computer, cell phone, etc..
