ETL Developer

The successful candidate will be an accomplished proactive customer-focused advocate, a team player with substantial database modeling experience, preferably with some experience within the Healthcare industry.  The following are the job qualifications for this position:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a technology related field or equivalent work experience
• 7+ years of experience with at least 5 yrs in data model design
• In-depth expertise in database technologies, programming, and system analysis and design
• Experience in large high volume enterprise IT environments and production support
• Experience with very large databases and performance issues related to modeling techniques and overall database architecture
• Must be a skilled in communicating with all types of users and skilled in listening and translating their requirements into an effective design specification.
• Demonstrated expertise in concepts underlying varied design techniques and the trade-offs required between the approaches.
• Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) tool experience required.
• Experience with Data Modeling tools, Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, and Microsoft Project required.
• Experience with Healthcare Data Warehouses a plus
• In-depth understanding of Oracle or DB2 architecture, tools, administration, and security.  SQL Server experience is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and technical writing skills
• Ability to multi-task with several concurrent issues and projects

·         Ability to create conceptual, logical and physical data models based on requirements and Jad sessions

·         Experience in the Erwin data modeling tool

·         Experience in 3 NF modeling (Inmon approach) and dimensional modeling for OLAP systems

·         Data warehousing experience

·         ETL experience

·         IBM DB2 and Oracle is a plus

·         Health Care knowledge is a plus

·         Ability to work in a fast paced team environment and able to conduct reviews and work with product management to get requirements
