The Operations Managers at Value Pawn provide support to the Store Manager by completing many different tasks during the course of a normal business day. On any given day, the Operations Manager must wear many different "hats" to accomplish assigned tasks. Among these are being a loan officer, inventory control specialist, merchandiser, buyer, human resources manager and customer service team leader.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A OPERATIONS MANAGER

Managers at Value Pawn complete many different tasks during the course of a normal business day. On any given day, the Store Manager must wear many different "hats" to accomplish assigned tasks. Among these are being a loan officer, inventory control specialist, merchandiser, buyer, human resources manager and customer service team leader.

The Store Manager at Value is always in control of the store's business operations. Value's Managers decide how much to loan a customer on any item of value while considering how that Loan might affect the store earnings down the road. How much the Store Manager Loans on an item will determine how much can be collected in pawn service charges when the loan is redeemed or how much gross profit can be realized if the pawned item is not reclaimed by the customer and is later sold by the store.

Pricing and item discounts are controlled by the Store Manager. This along with the loan decision noted above gives the Value Store Manager the authority and responsibility to control how much money a particular store will earn in net profit each month.

Value's Managers are involved in every transaction of every business activity in their store; directing customer traffic and making loan and selling decisions. The success of every Value store is directly related to the ability of the Store Manager to manage the business in a professional and profitable manner.

·          Minimum 5+ years management experience – staff, project, or department

·          Proven customer services skills that include a genuine willingness to help.

·          Must have unrestricted ability to bend, stoop, stand and lift up to 50lbs on a regular  basis.
