Member Service Associate (part-time)

 

What We Need

Position Overview

To perform all member service related functions on a timely and accurate basis.  To effectively cross-sell credit union products and services, and understand the importance of providing mutually beneficial financial solutions to all our members.

Position Responsibilities

1.    Interview members/prospective members to identify, solicit and fulfill their present and future financial and lending needs. 

2.    Conduct member or guest-member financial transactions and basic service inquiries. 

3.    Build and develop favorable member relations/relationships.

4.    Comply with internal and external regulations and procedures.

5.    Responsible for the achievement of individual sales and service goals.

6.    Additional duties as needed.

Requirements

Position Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Experience in Financial Institution, cash handling, and/or retail sales is preferred. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Must be detail oriented and possess excellent organizational skills.

  • Ability to consistently represent one’s self, and the credit union, in a positive and professional manner.

  • Ability to multi-task, and to work well under pressure.

  • Ability to work well in a team environment.

  • Basic Windows PC and  products and services knowledge.
