Nurse Unit Manager

Weymouth Health Care Center  is a 154 bed skilled nursing and rehab center located in a private setting 25 minutes outside of Boston and minutes from the South Shore Hospital. About the Opportunity
Help  Weymouth Health Care Center be a leader in the Health Services industry by acting as the "RN  Nurse Supervisor  "who:

  • Acute care background or extensive subacute background ( minimal 2 yrs full time)
  • Experience with I.V. therapy and proficiency with I.V starts

  • Proficiency with assessments with the ability to communicate effectively with Physicians.

  • As the clinical leader enjoy teaching with the ability to motivate staff

     

 


Job Requirements 

  • Managerial experience in either an acute or sub-acute facility preferred
  • Must be licensed Registered Nurse in MA.
  • Experience communicating regular status to clients, superiors, and peers.
  • Experience administering medication orally, subcutaneously, and through an IV.
  • Capable of performing general procedural nursing duties.
  • Ability to provide immediate supervision to employees, assigning tasks, scheduling shifts, and checking work at frequent intervals.
