Description

Tax Manager responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing quarterly and annual federal and international income tax provisions and tax account reconciliations.

  • Reviewing federal and international income tax returns, and assisting with tax audits, as necessary. 

  • Preparing and analyzing monthly/quarterly tax accruals for all entities and assisting the Director of Tax with analysis concerning tax planning opportunities. 

  • Completing special projects as assigned with respect to acquisitions, new ventures, sales, new products, etc.

Requirements
  •  The successful candidate will have a BS/BA with concentration in accounting and 5+ years of experience in tax department of a public accounting firm and/or industry.
  • A CPA and MA in Taxation is preferred. 
  • This individual should have extensive experience with accounting for income taxes under FAS 109, the ability to perform research, analysis and provide recommendations to tax policies and procedures. 
  • Familiarity with tax research products, e.g., RIA, CCH or BNA, and a good overall accounting knowledge
