Our firm, Primacy Search Group, has been retained to recruit an experienced Business Office Director (Patient Accounts Director) for a top-performing full service regional acute care hospital located in south eastern Missouri.
The Business Office Director is responsible for all Hospital Business Office / Patient Accounting activities in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations and as directed by the CFO, to assure the proper administrative procedures are maintained at all times. Responsibilities include overseeing appropriate billing and collection procedures in order to maximize reimbursement; maintaining appropriate internal controls, monitoring activities of collection agencies, insurance companies, and admitting.

Requirements
Education:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related required.
Training/Experience:
- Must have business office experience with Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial Insurance Billing and 3 years of progressive management experience in a lead or supervisory role.
- Must be a hands-on manager and leader with a focus on performance.
