Customer Service Representative - Commercial Lines

We’re looking for a Customer Serv ice Representative (CSR) to work in Insurance Services and assist in the development and growth of our commercial and personal lines business.  

The Customer Service Representative will work with our existing policyholder base to process various policy changes and requests.   The CSR is responsible for processing quotes, policy issuance and renewal through our market relationships.   The CSR will monitor carrier and company websites and process policy activity changes on a daily basis as well as manage and administer the department imaging, coordinate renewals and type business correspondence.  This CSR will recommend and sell products and services to meet the business needs of our customers and prospective customers and answer questions and provide coverage evaluation and quotes based on the appropriate market.  

The CSR will develop relationships with carrier personnel and stay updated on coverage modification and administration processes for each market.  

A high school degree or equivalent experience is required. 

Qualified applicants must have their personal and commercial lines agent license or must have the ability to obtain a license within the first ninety days of employment.  

This position requires one to three years experience with commercial and personal lines product offerings.   Experience in providing commercial and personal coverage through agency affiliation is desired as well as a life licensure.  CIC designation preferred.  

The person hired for this opportunity must possess good verbal and written communication skills, have the ability to handle multiple projects and meet defined deadlines. Excellent organizational, problem solving skills and attention to detail are required.
