Description Our client, a leading multi-national manufacturer of industrial engineered components, seeks a person to head up its global marketing efforts.

Requirements The successful candidate must come from an engineered industrial product environment. A history of strategic marketing experience and successes is required. The ability to identify problems, evaluate alternatives and develop strategic solutions is critical, as well as the ability to oversee its tactical implementation. In addition, a strong involvement in gated new product development is required. The position will directly supervise 4-6 product managers, as well as other marketing support people.

This position requires a personality that thrives in a very fast-paced environment where issues change and decisions need to be made, after quick evaluation, in a decisive manner. This environment requires a person who is driven to take on responsibility, has the energy and ambition to generate results and has a career goal to a General Manager role. A history coming from a large company environment, with hands-on successes, is highly desirable.

The position is Midwest based. Company will relocate. BS/MBA a plus.
