Cost Accountant 10-11103561
The Cost Accountant will handle day-to-day responsibilities related to ensuring the accurate and timely reporting of operational results. This position is located in OakBrook and will report directly to the Manager of Accounting and Control.
DUTIES:
Perform varieties of higher level cost accounting functions for up to 8 manufacturing locations Perform account analysis on inventory accounts determining their accuracy and completeness
Oversee the job closing function as well as perform the weekly Gross Margin Review
Control inventory consigned at customer locations and process applicable transactions and billing
Coordinate and reconcile physical inventories
Other projects as assigned
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required with 2+ years experience in manufacturing. SAP is a plus. Have strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills. Need extensive experience in accounting software, inventory software and manufacturing software. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software is required.
