We are an established, veteran friendly ER staffing Company located in Knoxville, Tennessee. We are seeking a highly motivated PHYSICIAN SCHEDULING COORDINATOR to meet the needs of our expanding company. Scheduling Coordinator will be responsible for the Management and Staffing of our Emergency Room Contracts for Correct Care, Inc. Scheduler communicates with physicians on a daily basis to ensure available work dates to complete a schedule, to assist in problem solving and resolve scheduling problems.
Preparation of physician schedules for their respective emergency departments. This will include direct and constant communication with physicians. The filling of open dates when shifts are not covered or when unforeseen emergencies arise. Maintenance of "physician rosters" bonus negotiation and full-time discussions are all part of the schedulers role.
This position requires an extremely organized person whom has the ability to talk on the phone, type on the computer and answer questions from co-workers all AT THE SAME TIME. Candidate must be able to work with minimal supervision, work under pressure, enjoy a fast paced environment and be a good communicator. Some night and weekends may be necessary to meet goals.
