Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a new Sales Manager with a true desire to succeed in a positive sales environment.
Job Overview: Responsible for the overall day-to-day sales operations of a locum tenens healthcare staffing sales team.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for achieving annual budgeted sales plan by developing and implementing action plan(s) in advance to ensure attainment of sales goals; proactively modifies and implements action plan(s) in reaction to forecasted changes in sales budget. Provides ongoing training and coaching of sales staff to ensure that they are productive and working at their full capacity. Works with each sales team member on a regular basis to teach new ways of selling company clients and providers. Provides executive management with relevant information to help in the determination of marketing strategies and identifying company growth opportunities. Responsible for maintaining daily margin rates and achieving sales budget. Monitors sales activity and performance levels of sales team members through effective use of company provided resources and reports. Performs the job functions of an Account Executive, Recruiting Coordinator or Staffing Coordinator as needed. Works with the sales recruiting department to interview and hire personnel to fill open sales positions as needed. Performs other projects as assigned by Director of Sales.
Requirements
Job Qualifications:
Four year college degree in a business related discipline or equivalent professional experience. Two to five years of successful sales management experience preferably in an inside sales environment. Two or more years of staffing industry management experience desired, preferably in the health care industry. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, and analytical skills. Ability to adapt to and implement change; ability to manage stress and conflict; ability to manage and motivate sales personnel; demonstrated ability to develop sales personnel for professional growth. Proficient in use of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel) and the ability to learn new software applications. Previous experience with use of CRM databases.
