Requirements
Requirements

   Education

  • Must be licensed by the State of Texas as a Registered Nurse.
  • Completion of a degree in nursing or related field preferred.

II.        Experience



    • Licensed in the State of Texas as a Registered Nurse
    • Minimum of 3 years active as a RN
    • 5 + years of experience in home healthcare
    • Oasis Certification strongly preferred.  (If not client will provide training and employee has 18 months to become certified)
    • ICD9 or Diagnosis Coding Experience is required
    • Possession of a working knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid home health care benefits, policies and procedures preferred.

III.       Skills & Abilities

  • Have the ability to motivate others in a positive manner.
  • Have good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possess good interpersonal skills.
  • Have the ability to organize work and schedule effectively.
  • Be willing and able to foster the team and continuous quality improvement concepts.
  • Possess a firm foundation of basic nursing skills.
  • Be able to exercise initiative and independent judgment.

IV.        Other

  • Must have satisfactory references from previous employers.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal history check.
  • Must be able to pass a random drug test.
  • Must have a dependable vehicle and a valid drivers license
