Vice President, Sales & Marketing

Olympian Labs, an established provider of premium dietary supplements, vitamins and minerals, is seeking an experienced Vice President, Sales and Marketing, to lead its ambitious expansion plans. Now a part of Besins Healthcare, SA, a major international pharmaceutical company based in Brussels, Olympian Labs is poised to greatly expand Its Sales and Marketing programs. Long a leader in quality nutraceuticals in the US health food arena, the company expects to enter the international market in a significant way. In addition, the company is developing several breakthrough products which will allow it to expand into the mass markets.

This position will develop and implement strategic sales and business development plans. The candidate will be responsible for all the company's sales and marketing efforts to achieve optimal sales and returns. The areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to, the following areas:

•         Managing direct inside sales, outside sales people and independent sales brokers

•         Working with international distributors and customers

•         Developing and managing advertising

•         Implementing promotional programs including trade shows

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in our base health food industry, as well as the mass market and international sales. The company is also planning a major expansion of its online marketing, so internet experience would be a plus. The successful candidate will possess a high level of intellect, creativity, and integrity; and should be a motivational leader that will encourage, support, and direct his group to achieve their goals.

The candidate must have a 4 year degree, though an MBA is desirable. The candidate must be computer literate and possess experience with the Microsoft Suite of products.

Some travel will be required.
