Description

Our client is seeking a senior Transportation Engineer to design, present and manage transportation infrastructure projects.  Responsibilities include design of highways and roadways, and rehabilitation of bridges and roadways.  Will have client interaction and manage contracts.

 

  • Must be local to the area as business development is required
  • Client contact and onsite resident project representation is required
  • Will be asked to prepare reports, specifications, plans construction schedules, environmental impact studies and permits for the projects
Requirements
  • BS in Civil Engineering
  • Licensed in Iowa or the ability to acquire this PE license within 6 months
  • 10+ years in the design and project management of transportation/infrastructure projects
  • Experience with Iowa DOT
  • Experience with Iowa municipalities and major roadway projects
  • Business development and client management experience
  • Knowledge of Geopak, InRoads, AutoCAD and MicroStation
  • Familiar with regulatory agency procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
