Multi Billion dollar, Fortune 100 Automotive company located in the Nashville / Chattanooga TN is looking for a Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement Leader / Training Specialist
Role summary
· Realization, implementation and maintenance of training modules at all levels, according to the requirements of the Company’s Production System, assuring the quality of training and continuous improvement, granting productivity of process and people.
Role responsibilities
- Participation in determining, adaptation and introduction of training modules within the companies Production System and LEAN manufacturing.
- Preparation, promotion, designs, elaboration, actualization of training modules in launch phase, series phase, and in case of quality problems granting continuous improvement. Training of new workers/staff (part time and definite), Trainees, rotation of workers, and of current worker/personnel
- Realise training, work-shops and qualification for new trainers. Evaluation of new trainers.
- Create, manage and maintain: data bases of assistants, close up training modules, registration of data, statistic control, certification, qualification matrix
- Evaluation of feedback and motivation for participation in the idea management program.
- Planning and elaboration of training schedules and class room occupation,
- Elaborate reports and presentations, for the production area, and other areas/clients affected.
- Manage and maintain WEB page, assuring publication of training activities.(planning, schedules, programmes)
- Maintenance of equipment and training means.
- Manage and organize presentations and visitors
- Interface between the different areas and clients within the company
Requirements
Specialized skills, knowledge or certifications unique to this role
a. 3+ years Training experience in an Automotive manufacturing environment
b. 3+ years Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement Training
c. Experience of innovative methods of working in an organization and production systems in an automotive manufacturing,
d. Lean thinking individual that can Analyze and question continuously existing processes for the purpose of guarantee continuous improvement.
