Curtive Specialist

Pay Rate:  $15.00 - $16.00/hr (DOE)

Curative Associate – WESTLAKE, TEXAS

 

 

Purpose of Position:

 

Ensure timely clearance of any title defects while adhering to client specific requirements.

 

Position Description/Requirements:

 

  • Review title reports and ensure all title defects are resolved in a timely manner
  • Order necessary demands and maintain supporting documentation that support curative steps taken
  • Support inbound/outbound calls to borrowers, brokers and lender to resolve any title related issues or questions
  • Communicate effectively via phone and email with lender, brokers and borrowers regarding title clearance items
  • Effectively manage pipeline reports
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures including those of the lender
  • Meet all productivity standards as outlined by management and lender
  • Present a “can do" attitude on every interaction with clients and co-worker
  • Demonstrate respect for all clients and co-workers
  • Be flexible enough to deviate from the norm when the situation warrants, keeping the welfare of the client and out business at the forefront of the decision
  • Demonstrate excellent organization, documentation and follow through skills

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to organize, plan effectively and follow through on commitments to our clients and their borrowers
  • Be flexible and adaptable to change (including work hours)

  • Knowledge of systems and workflow management
  • Be professional in all interactions
  • Good knowledge of MS Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Knowledge of Title/Escrow terminology and Title products
  • Minimum one year title/escrow industry employment
  • Able to work mandatory overtime
 

MUST be able to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background investigation and provide verifiable employment for the past seven years (names, address, dates, phone numbers).
