Description Install or repair company and competitor products in accordance with the original equipment manufacturing standards
- Schedule production and oversee all jobs for shop and field service
- Strong focus on inventory & quality control
- Advise customers on repair and replacement options and costs of standard products
- Examine, troubleshoot, repair, test, and maintain products at customer sites or company service centers
- Be a liaison between company sales, production, and engineering personnel and customers on product and product installation issues including, but not limited to, job procedures, spare parts, and fit and function
- Contribute to section and departmental policy and procedure formulation, alteration, deployment, and planning
Requirements • 5 years valve repair experience
• Ability to work M-F from as early as 6am to as late as 10pm, depending on workload. Field jobs may require earlier starts and some overnight stays.
• Ability to work some Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays.
• Ability to travel by company truck to job sites. Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must be able to communicate and interact effectively with customers.
• Must be able to work independently and be a self starter.
• Must be able to preliminary assess problem with valve and take appropriate tools to job site.
• Ability to write legibly and complete reports timely.
• Computer skills ( e-mail, internet, word )
• Have basic understand of service business financial requirements such as costing, margin and utilization of labor.
