GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Sell and represent Pella products and Gunton services to homeowners interested in window replacement.
Utilize the Retail Lead Management Success Metrics to manage your business: Leads converted to Opportunities, Opportunities to Gained Entry, Gained Entry to Quotes, Quotes to Won Projects, Yield per Lead (yield equals the average order dollar amount divided by the number of opportunities).
Follow-up aggressively on all leads generated from our national and local advertising and from homeshows. Convert to Leads to In-Home appointments through a diligent telemarketing effort throughout the day and evenings as needed.
Complete In-Store and In-Home sales presentations, utilizing the Gunton Sales Processes to ensure a world-class buying experience for all homeowner customers. Provide a verbal disposition on all completed In-Home appointments and ensure all applicable information on completed appointments is entered into the Gunton Contact Management System.
Meet with homeowners In-Store and In-Home at times convenient for the customer to demonstrate product, to explain our unique and professional installation and prefinishing services, to quote jobs, and to close orders aggressively, yet professionally.
Understand and promote our various financing programs in order to increase close ratios and expand average order size.
Aggressively manage your past-customer database to self-generate new leads from job street prospecting, customer referrals, and word-of-mouth.
Utilize the Gunton Contact Management System to ensure timely follow-up on leads and opportunities and to effectively manage your time. Follow the Gunton Sales Processes in regards to recording of activities and management of leads and opportunities.
Maintain overall discounts and margins at specified levels.
Develop and maintain solid relationships and communications with current and past homeowner customers, branch personnel, and internal personnel to ensure outstanding customer service.
Develop plans to satisfy prospects’ and customers’ needs and present solutions to customers.
Follow up on all installations to ensure complete customer satisfaction, to handle all customer and prospect requests in a timely and professional fashion, and to see through to completion.
Carry and utilize the appropriate window hand-samples and sales kits during your presentations.
Continually update knowledge of Pella and competitor products in order to address customer needs and to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Coordinate activities of Inside Sales Representatives to ensure timely, accurate quoting and ordering of product.
Provide showroom coverage for specific hours as defined by Divisional management.
Work specified hours in booth during major home shows.
Adhere to all Gunton Corporation sales and marketing policies.

QUALIFICATIONS
Operates appropriate vehicle (e.g., SUV, station wagon, minivan, pickup with cab) to carry all specified window samples, sales kits, literature, and parts.
Computer literate.
Construction background preferred.
In-home selling experience preferred.
College degree strongly preferred.
