Position Information:

General Summary:

  • Contacts customers and prospects within a defined geographic territory or on an account basis to sell a variety of FedEx international and freight services.
  • Focuses on sales targets by developing new international business opportunities, troubleshooting customer problems, and enhance existing customer relationships.
  • May have special markets or complex product lines that require significant customer relationship skills.
  • Uses strong time management, verbal, and negotiation skills. 


Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
  • Business-to-business sales experience in any industry (inside and outside sales combined) preferred.
  • The preferred candidate has additional business-to-business sales experience through which the following key success factors have been developed: sales skills, communication, influence and negotiation, problem solving, and planning and organizing skills.
  • Overnight travel required.
  • Position level commensurate with experience.
