Inventory/Warehouse Management Configuration Specialist–JW12313
Johns Manville is currently in the process of a completely comprehensive implementation of SAP version 6 ECC. This is the latest version of SAP and Johns Manville is one of only a few organizations that can offer such an exciting opportunity. We are currently seeking an Inventory Management/Warehouse Management (IM/WM) Configuration Specialist to be located at our Denver, CO global headquarters.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define and document the critical system requirements for a variety of manufacturing process including quality systems, production execution as well as inventory management and warehouse managements.
•Interpret business needs into data requirements – including such attributes as naming standards, consistent data definitions, data aliases, associated business rules, data sources, retention criteria, derivations, security restrictions, accessibility, and reusability, and currency, unit of measure, and frequency of update, linkages, and integration.
• Work effectively with other process teams and business unit representatives across all functional areas and levels of management to ensure master data is properly integrated.
• Work with external consultants to design and deliver globally configured data which enables the global processes and systems
• To contribute to detailed design and implementation of new business processes, new data requirements and new information systems to support these processes.
• Define and configure business rules
• Represent multiple locations/business units
• Direct Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
• Gather requirements across multiple locations
• Conduct gap analysis of current state to future state design
• Validate functional design with key stakeholders
• Document new processes and reports
• Test new processes and automation
• Train and support users
