Position Title: Marketing Manager
Reports To: Marketing Director
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Marketing Manager will manage and perform a range of functions in support of all Party City corporate and franchise stores. These responsibilities will primarily include the management of all print advertising and local marketing.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the development, logistics, execution and evaluation of multiple versioned print circular events. Assure timely and flawless executions.
- Manage the development and execution of multiple digital marketing programs.
- Partner with internal merchants to obtain sku submissions for print events.
- Manage a cross functional team and/or agency responsible for all aspects of the copy/promotional review process, production and implementation of all advertising and promotional materials.
- Partner in the design, production, and implementation of in-house and agency marketing projects.
- Day-to-day interaction with on-site print management company, printers and Valassis.
- Provide succinct store communication documents that support a goal of flawless execution at field level.
- Support director in developing and evaluating key marketing programs.
- Manage the logistics, execution and evaluation of key marketing programs.
- Provide clear and concise communication to internal and external partners.
Qualifications/Skills & Knowledge Requirements:
- Must be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and be flexible in working on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must be a team player and be able to interact with staff at all levels of the company and its operating units.
- Experience in digital marketing and social media is preferred.
- Highly proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point.
- Experience in analysis and use of market research data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to present advertising layouts and interact with senior management.
- Strong negotiating and interpersonal skills.
- Experience must include prior project leadership role demonstrating initiative and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and multiple departments.
- Bachelors degree, Marketing or Communications
Interaction with:
· Advertising, IT, Merchandising, Field Management, Franchisee Owners and Retail Customers
· External contacts are routine and include advertising agencies, designers, printers and other suppliers.
