Part-time Contract Occupational Health Nurse

Job Description 

Yoh Health Care has an opening for a part-time contract Occupational Health Nurse in Montgomery County. You will work 1 full day and 2 half mornings.

Job Duties:

  • The RN will be responsible for providing care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients with occupational health illness or injuries.
  • Also oversee the Employee Health Dept in conjunction with Nurse Practitioner providing necessary health maintenance and occupational surveillance activities to employees.
  • In addition you will be responsible for coordinating and/or providing safety programs and Case Management.
  • The RN will need to have strong phone and computer skills and will need to work well under pressure
  • Administer vaccinations
  • Treats injuries and illnesses
  • Performs and records EKG’s, vital signs, dressing changes, eye irrigations, venipunctures, visual screenings, audiograms and drug screens
  • Administers medications
  • Places, reads, and reports PPD’s
  • Case Management (workers compensations/disability management)
  • Accident investigation
  • Ergonomic assessments
  • Promotes Employee Health and Wellness
  • Travel immunizations
 


Job Requirements 

  • BSN preferred
  • Current Pennsylvania Nursing License
  • Occupational Health/Employee Health experience
  • Case Management experience
  • Phlebotomy Skills
  • Audiometric certification-preferred
  • Occupational Health certification-preferred
  • BCLS Certification
