Description
Qualified candidates must have a bachelors degree in accounting, information technology, or business administration with 2 years of post degree experience. Prior experience evaluating and implementing computer-based accounting systems improvements and upgrades as well as advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 2007 products is required, Microsoft SharePoint and Visio experience is preferred. Candidates must have a demonstrated knowledge of basic accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
Candidates should be able to function independently, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines. Strong communication skills are a must in order to communicate effectively with various levels of Accounting and IT personnel.

Accounting Systems Analyst Positions
Responsibilities could include developing new technologies to improve accounting efficiency and effectiveness, researching external technology software, promoting best practices and improving controls and documentation, and serving as a liaison between Accounting and IT.
