Radiology Technician Aide (Full-time)

We are currently seeking a Radiology Technician Aide for our office located in Evanston,  IL 60201.
Location: Evanston Hospital

Hours: Full-time (40 hours/week), Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

In this role, you will: 

- Assists in preparing patient for exam, verifying physician orders, obtaining histories, if applicable and explaining procedures.
- Sets up room for ultrasounds and assist physician during procedures
- Performs darkroom functions; processes radiographs; and cleans screens and cassettes
- Pulls patient files/previous films and hangs them for the Radiologist to read
- Assists in staffing the Radiology front desk and patient rooms when needed
- Assists radiographer with patients, including maneuvering carts and positioning patients
- Maintains and stocks sterile supplies from Central Processing Department

Requirements Our ideal candidate will have: 


- High School graduate or equivalent
- CPR Certification required
- Previous Radiology Aide experience preferred
