Job Description

Identify, interview, and hire qualified physician candidates that meet company requirements.  Must be able to negotiate salaries, execute effective telephone and face-to-face interviews, and implement effective recruitment campaigns. 

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited too:

  

  • The successful candidate will recruit qualified physicians for each market and assists and coordinates the development of strategic and comprehensive physician recruitment plans in accordance with the needs and goals of the company.
  • Performs initial interviews to determine candidate suitability for placement.
  • The Physician Recruiter will identify candidates via cold calling, internet, journals, and various databases; ability to provide detailed information to providers regarding the company compensation plan; following up with the provider throughout recruitment process; placing the candidate; initiating compensation surveys and compiling data for presentation to executive team; determining marketing & recruiting approaches through recruitment planning; and attending conferences and job fairs.
Job Requirements
·         Bachelors Degree

·         Minimum 5 years of recruitment experience, preferably in executive search and/or direct hire placements

·         Must have strong communication skills

·         Strong decision making skills

·         Professional appearance and demeanor

·         Documented track record of success

·         Ability to operate effectively in a start-up environment
