Digital Filmmaking & Video Production Faculty – Full/Part Time Positions

The Art Institute of Tampa has opportunities for full and/or part time faculty in our digital filmmaking and video production department.

Applicants should have a wide range of film/video production skills with particular emphasis on HD digital technology. Candidates must be knowledgeable and experienced with various camera formats, non-linear editing systems and production techniques. All candidates must have an MFA or higher graduate degree with at least 16 credit hours of study in the discipline being taught.

As an instructor, you will be expected to engage and challenge the students intellectually, creatively and technically while demonstrating knowledge of contemporary practices related to the field of digital film and video production.

Must have hands on knowledge of:

·         HD Formats

·         Digital Editing techniques

·         Video Production

·         Studio Production

·         Live Switching

·         Final Cut Pro or equivalent editing application

·         Motion

·         After Effects

·         Pro Tools or equivalent audio application

Preferred experience:

·       2 years plus of hands on teaching experience

·       3 years plus of hands on production experience
