LTL Transportation Account Executive

Description Wilson Trucking Corporation, a premier Southeastern regional carrier has an immediate sales opening for the Birmingham, Alabama sales territory. Wilson Trucking has an 82-year history of providing high quality, award-winning transportation services. During this time, the company has maintained a debt-free posture. Best qualified candidates will have a college degree and LTL transportation experience, with a background in operations and / or sales. However, a person with strong outside sales experience or a recent college graduate may be considered. Successful candidates will be dedicated and determined to succeed, be both outgoing and personable, well-organized, detail-oriented and have the highest level of integrity. The ability to establish long-term relationships and negotiate win-win agreements with customers in a very competitive market is essential. Candidates must reside in the Birmingham area. Compensation includes salary, use of a company car, along with a complete benefit package consisting of health insurance, dental and optical, 401-K, paid vacation and holidays.
