Access Commerce is an international provider of multichannel e-commerce and CRM solutions that optimize complex product, selling and ordering processes. Our Cameleon Commerce Suite incorporates AJAX and other Web 2.0 technologies to automate key business functions with modular offerings for e-commerce, electronic catalog and guided selling, product and service configurator, pricing optimization, quote and proposal generation and order management.

 

Access Commerce is a public company headquartered in Toulouse, France and has North American headquarters in Skokie, Illinois. We’ve been delivering solutions to Fortune 1000 and innovative mid-size companies worldwide since 1987.

We’re looking for a support consultant with Java EE application architecture/development skills in support of implementing the Cameleon Commerce Suite.  You will work as a key contributor to the Customer Support Team to ensure on time delivery of product enhancements and fixes and complete customer satisfaction.

 

Responsibilities will include:

·         Programming of new features and fixes to Cameleon products

·         Customer Support (L3/L2)

·         Development of J2EE enterprise solutions

·         Documentation (requirements, detailed design, user manuals)

·         Participate in design and technical meetings

·         Provide recommendations and status

·         Unit testing, solution testing and deployment assistance

·         Issue management and resolution

 

Requirements

The ideal candidate is an intelligent and energetic customer support consultant who is results oriented, takes initiative, and pays exceptional attention to detail. Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and be adept at managing multiple projects and priorities.

 

Qualifications:

·         Proficient in enterprise business software/hardware solutions and tools

·         Experience with Java (J2EE) technologies including: beans, EJBs, JDBC, Servlets, XML, SOAP, JSP, AJAX, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, etc.

·         Experience with Salesforce.com development

·         Experience with Linux-based web hosting solutions

·         2+ years of software development/customer support experience with application servers such as JBoss

·         Experience with Oracle and SQL Server

·         Demonstrated ability to work to a plan and be part of a team

·         A bachelor’s degree in a computer or engineering related field required.


Extra work hours will be required in this position to fully support our customers.

 

The ideal candidate is located in the Chicago area and must be authorized to work in the United States. Bilingual English/French is a plus.
