Boundary Conditions/Authority Levels:
Establishes work unit goals and meets objectives.
Work is reviewed and measured based on meeting objectives and schedules.
Works with minimal supervision, deferring complex decisions to project coordinators, technical writers, and management.
Provides training for graphic design and production.
Communicates project status and issues to project teams, project coordinators and management.
Maintains electronic files.
Submits project documents for approval.
Reads, understands, and follows documentation and department procedures.
Participates in development of department procedures.
Ensures that skills are maintained on a continual basis to support activities and objectives.
Leads or participates in process improvement and Lean Six Sigma initiatives.
Must have strong graphic design skills; project planning, communication and customer focus required.
Advanced proficiency with Adobe, Corel Draw and other graphics applications.
5 to 7 years experience in graphic communications with an emphasis in product literature, documentation, labeling and packaging.
BA/MA in computer graphics or related discipline.
