Registered Nurse/RN  FT & PT

at

The Women's Treatment Center
The Women's Treatment Center is a substance abuse center for women,

pregnant women and their children on the near West Side of Chicago.


The Center has an opening for 2 RN 's on a Residential Unit.
One postion is full time and one is part time.

Responsible for the health assessment screening of all admissions,

dispensing medication to patients,

maintaining medication stock

and all medication administration records.

Duties to include planning and

coordinating patient care of post partum women and women with children,

implementing appropriate nursing interventions

and evaluating the nursing care provided.

 

Duties also include being responsible for the supervision of LPNs

and any ancillary nursing personnel on the program.

Appropriate state and professional licensure required.

Requirements
  • Graduate from accredited school of nursing required.
  • State licensure required. Experience with medical/surgical experience and/or experience with substance abuse patients preferred.
  • Experience with children and methadone a plus.
