CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

At Daylight Transport, we know what it takes to offer a service that is second to none.  Since 1977, we have been providing expedited LTL (Less Than Truckload) service to and from the West Coast and offering competitive rates without compromising our top-of-the-line customer service.

Our focus is to provide a first-class customer service experience with timely follow-up and prompt resolution to customer inquiries and concerns.  We currently have employment opportunities in our corporate office located in Long Beach, CA.

• Answering customer inquiries by phone or email
• Providing rate quotes for potential shipments
• Handling pickup requests
• Tracking and tracing shipments
• Interacting with other departments to resolve customer related matters

Experience/ Skills

• A minimum of one year of customer support experience

• An aptitude and appreciation for serving customers
• Effective time management skills
• A strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook is essential. 
• Achievement oriented/ goal directed
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are a must.
