Retail Regional Manager- Speciality Stores

The Retail Regional Manager is responsible for revenue, expenses, and net income performance to ensure achievement of sales, productivity, and profitability goals for a select group of stores within the retail chain. 

This person will create and administer annual budgets, forecasts and sales reports.  The ideal candidate will provide strategic leadership in the development of store management and inventory control while at the same time maintaining the highest level of customer service, product knowledge and visual merchandising skills.

To accomplish our expectations, the incumbent will be knowledgeable of the consumer products industry, retail market trends and new developments made by our competitors.  Considerable travel up to 75% should be expected.  Relocation is not available for this position.

• Ability to hire, manage and motivate individuals as well as teams.

• Demonstrated skills in the areas of training, development and facilitation.

• Skillful in the areas of store layout and merchandising.

• Proven success in maximizing sales, gross margin and inventory turns. 

• Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills required.

• Knowledgeable of customer service techniques and programs.

• Able to handle multiple priorities and re-prioritize as needed within available time lines.

• Minimum 5+ years store management experience (for a speciality retailer preferred.)
• Multi-unit management experience required.
• Experience creating and administering annual budgets, forecasts, and sales reports.
• Able to work 'hands-on' side by side

• Bachelor’s Degree or applicable experience.
