FLORIDA CAREER COLLEGE, a nationally accredited private college founded in 1982, is pleased to announce its plans for a NEW OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT PROGRAM at our West Palm Beach campus. FLORIDA CAREER COLLEGE owns and operates eight Florida campuses located in Miami, Hialeah, Pembroke Pines, Lauderdale Lakes, West Palm Beach, Clearwater, Brandon and Jacksonville.  FLORIDA CAREER COLLEGE is a rapidly growing provider of career-oriented post-secondary education offering Diploma, Associate and Bachelor Degree programs and specializes in Healthcare (Allied Health), Wellness programs (Skin Care & Massage Therapy), Business and Information Technology.

The PROGRAM CHAIR position is available immediately. The primary responsibility of the PROGRAM CHAIR will be to provide overall academic leadership in the development of this new program.

Note:  You must have the following educational and practical requirements of AOTA to be considered for this academic leadership position. 

•  Baccalaureate Degree is required.
• Must possess Master's degree or be willing to pursue a Master's Degree.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of Occupational Therapy including practice, administrative or supervisory experience. 
•  Must be certified as an Occupational Therapist and duly licensed (or eligible) by the State of Florida, 
•  One year of experience in a full-time academic appointment with teaching experience required (OT preferred).
